The lock-back clip point blade has a fine edge and is forged from 420HC stainless steel. Sheathed in a heavy-duty nylon case, the Gator is still one of Gerber’s most popular folders.

Robert Bayley S4 Survival series custom knife
(Robert Bayley/Bear Grylls designed)
Seasons 3, 4, 5 & 6 (Ep.1-12)

The design criteria was for a practical and dependable custom made survival knife with a 4"(100mm) blade remaining light and slim enough to be carried unobtrusively on the belt or tucked into a cargo or rucksack pocket. Compact but capable. The design has been proven and tested to good effect over many seasons in some of the world's most inhospitable environments. RWL powdered metallurgy steel. G10 handle. Full slotted tang. Leather sheath.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gerber Prodigy
Season 6, Ep.13 (North Africa), Season 7 (entirety)

Design cues for the new Prodigy were inspired by the award-winning LMF II, another knife engineered by Gerber's Jeff Freeman. The Prodigy is much smaller (9.75" overall length), but it certainly packs as much punch as its predecessor. The full tang, U.S. 420HC Stainless Steel blade is beefy, and coated with black oxide for improved corrosion resistance and reduced visual signature. The ergonomic over-molded rubber handles ensures a soft, comfortable, but secure grip in all conditions. Its also MIRS compliant & made in the USA.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Man, Woman, Wild
Mykel & Ruth Hawke
Mykel & Ruth Hawke are a married couple that test their limits in survival situations. All for your entertainment! Mykel is a survival expert and ex-Special Forces. In this survival series, he teaches his wife Ruth how to survive in the wild. Interestingly, they used a different knife each episode! Why? No idea. But it makes for great TV & proof of usability for all the manufacturers to have their knives used.
